One day, a couple of friends - performing musicians who love to teach, looked around, and noticed that there were lots of teaching methods and music schools for aspiring musicans to choose from.   They saw that it was just too confusing for aspiring pros to figure out where to go to get the results they were seeking. 

We wanted you to come in, and really, really get the technical skills you need, not come in "to take lessons in... (fiil in the blank) "  We knew that once you really "dig" (understand, know) your area, you can use that knowledge CREATIVELY . Hence, "DiG iT".   That is, after all, what it's all about.
